Balancing History and Precision
Few people know that, besides being a watchmaker, I also studied history. From collectors, historians, and museum professionals, I learned that historical objects must be treated with the utmost care and respect — they are fragile, unique, and often irreplaceable, where even the smallest mistake can greatly affect their value.
As watchmaker I love most to repair vintage watches, they’re full of character, however they’re often far more challenging to restore and demand more patience, than modern timepieces. A vintage watch reflects a lifetime of wear and repair. When opening a 70-year-old timepiece, we never know what awaits inside. Every mark on a screw, every scratch on a bridge or wheel tells a story — and these are the clues we navigate during service.
I continually study new tools and techniques to make each repair more precise, efficient, and respectful of your timepiece’s heritage. Our motto is simple: “We value history, yet approach it with a modern mind.”
